Last year, our project The Boy and the Fight of Spiders (Diwalwal) was selected for the 2024 TorinoFilmLab FeatureLab, a prestigious programme supporting first and second-time filmmakers.
Written and directed by Jarell Mahinay Serencio, the film continued its development through FeatureLab after first being part of ScriptLab 2022. We were honored to be among 10 international projects, joining a diverse group of visionary storytellers from around the world.
At the conclusion of the programme, we were awarded a TFL Co-Production Award. Though the programme wrapped months ago, the experience continues to shape the path of this film.
